Here are some scenic shots that I was commissioned to photograph recently at The London West Hollywood Hotel. A beautiful hotel for some old-school Hollywood glamour, with an antique car to boot.  Gordon Ramsay's restaurant is beautifully decorated in a modern-rustic fashion.  I am finally done with my 2010 weddings!  Here's to many more shoots in 2011!

Kimberly and Justin married at the American Martyrs Church and had their reception at Verandas in Manhattan Beach.  The first time I met Kimberly she told me I was exactly who she thought I'd be.  It's always great when others like you for who you truly are, and it was the same for me, as I really love Kimberly for who she is: a confident, and self-assured bride who was the calmest person of the day save for her now-husband, Justin, who was equally chill too.  It's pretty contagious if you ask me, as throughout the day I saw guests relax and enjoy the clouds as they rolled on by; it was supposed to rain but instead the clouds made for a beautiful sunset to be enjoyed by all.

Christine, we cannot thank you enough for being a part of our wedding!!! These pictures are better than anything we could have imagined! It was a great pleasure working with you: from our first meeting to the Big Day. The joy and care you took in capturing the happiest day of our lives is priceless. Thank you, again... love, hugs and craw-fish : )

In the midst of the summer wedding rush I got to take a breather with a charity event, the 2010 Annual Butterfly Ball.  Living in LA, seeing people in entertainment is quite common--I gave Harrison Ford his soda at In-n-Out, and I blended a smoothie for Diane Keaton and her daughter at Jamba Juice.  But seeing Hollywood gather together for the Ball was something new for me.  So was meeting Nick Lachey and Ben Stiller and running after Chris Tucker (I had to run to catch up to him as he is much taller than me), as he rushed to the event.  Seth MacFarlane was his usual self, making fun of everyone, and after wikipedia-ing Glee, (I don't really watch TV but I am a fan of Family Guy) I met much of the cast at the Ball.   WireImage took care of most of the celebrity red carpet stuff and I was, for the most part, in charge of photographing all of the sponsors of the event.  In addition to Chrysalis providing me with a shadow who identified all of the celebrities for me and ran through my shot list with me, the bartenders were really helpful too.  They're usually helpful with the drinks, but this time they were also gracious enough to pour drinks with the label showing while I photographed away.
